Millford Care Centre
The Milford Care Centre in Limerick is a voluntary, not-for-profit organisation and registered charity. It was first established by the Little Company of Mary Sisters in 1928 and now provides Specialist Palliative Care and Older Persons Services in the Mid West. Not just a Hospice Inpatient Unit, they provide multiple services to their community. These include Hospice at Home services, a Nursing Home, Day Care for both the Older Person and people with palliative care needs.
The Problem
The client explained to us that their main issue was that the location site was open and exposed. Their existing furniture needed to be replaced and in their experience from maintenance over previous winters and summers was that the furniture would easily blow over and therefore had to be resituated. The also mentioned that the cost of maintenance was extremely high and they were looking for a more permanent and viable solution.
The Solution
We took some samples of the furniture to show the team at Milford Care Centre. We explained the benefits of our maintenance-free outdoor furniture as they are durable, rot- proof, colour and texture permanent and ideal for picnic areas, public gardens, schools and campgrounds. After listening to our customers needs we created all the maintenance-free outdoor furniture and planters in our workshop. We also delivered the benches on time and placed them as agreed.
